How many bubbles do we need to rent?
It depends on the size of the field and group size. For example, for 20 people you can easily do 10-12 bubbles, 25 participants you could rent 12-14 bubbles, 30-40 participants you could do 16-18 bubbles and for over 50 we can even do packages for 3-4 hours of play time and have substitute players for the second hour.
Do you have a facility that we could come and play at?
Most people want to play bubble soccer closer to where they live or work. Bubble Soccer Toronto works with several facilities across the GTA and can find you a facility that is closer to where most of your team member reside/work. That way you do not have to travel far and save on travel cost and time. You could also find your own facility such as sports domes, soccer centres and gymnasiums. We will deliver to the location of your choice.
What if we wanted to a day event?
Bubble Soccer Toronto offers standard packages of two hours, we do build custom packages based on your needs and prices can vary accordingly. Once you have decided on how many bubbles and participants there are – we could come up with a custom package for you based on your requirement.
What is the generator for?
The generator is required for inflating and deflating the bubble balls. The generator is only required if you are playing in an outdoor field where there is no access to power outlet.
Why is there an extra participant charge?
Bubble Soccer Toronto is fully insured. The extra participant charges are there due to chances of damaging bubbles and participant insurance coverage. As per the policy of Bubble Soccer Toronto – all participants need to be insured in order to play.
Can we do this event both indoor and outdoor?
Yes – depending on the weather, you can play. Most people will play outdoors until winter kicks in due to the space and flexibility as well as cost.
What size of bubble do I need?
Bubble Soccer Toronto rents bubbles in three different sizes – Small, Medium and Large. The small will fit anyone from height of 4ft – 5’2 ft, medium will fit 5’2” to 6’2” and large will fit anyone above 6’2”.
Do you arrange for food?
Bubble Soccer Toronto has trained event planners that can definitely arrange food for your party depending on what it is you are looking for. We have several options on food and how to help you plan your event.
Is the game safe to play?
Bubble Soccer Toronto has ensured that all field representatives are trained to inform you of the rules and regulations of the game. The field representatives also ensure you are aware of all rules with full understanding and provide support if needed. It is safe if you follow the rules not causing an injury to yourself just like any other sport. In fact, it is safer than regular soccer due to the bubble surrounding your body.
Are the bubbles cleaned before given?
Bubble Soccer Toronto under goes a whole procedure at the warehouse that ensures the bubbles, pinnies and any other equipment worn is followed by full instructions of cleaning and sanitizing after each event. Our other items such as, soccer balls, etc. are also cleaned after every game.
Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery charges are free of cost in certain location and may have a small price on other locations depending on the distance covered from our Mississauga warehouse considering the mileage and gas as well as time of the field representatives taken to provide and setup the bubble soccer game for you.
How do you breathe in the bubble?
The bubbles are open from the top and the bottom so you can breathe easily with no issues. If you have shortage of breath – just like any other sport please take safety precautions while playing the game and if you feel exhausted, please be sure to take a break. Bubble Soccer is just like every sport in that regard.
Does it get hot inside the bubble?
Not necessarily but depending on how much heat your body gives out – it is best to carry a water bottle and towel with you. There has never been an issue of feeling too hot in our bubbles as they are designed very well.
Is it tough to get in and out of the bubble to switch players?
Our representatives at Bubble Soccer Toronto teach you how to get in and out of the bubble easily – it only takes a couple of minutes when you know how do it and is not difficult at all.
Can we sprain an ankle or hurt our legs while playing in the bubble?
As mentioned earlier, The Bubble Soccer Toronto team ensures that you have all safety rules and positions. Just like regular soccer, the best thing would be to take precautions to prevent yourself from causing injuries or being in a position that may lead to an injury. If you are careful while playing, you will not be facing any injury. It is encouraged you wear knee-guards so that you could avoid accidental leg injuries. It is not allowed for you to push another bubble player against the wall of the field as it can cause serious injuries. You could bump into each other and roll around but pushing someone in a dangerous way is not permitted.
Is it harsh on the back or neck while playing bubble soccer?
The bubbles have two safety belts and as long as you ensure they are buckled up – you will be fine. It has not caused any strains on the back or necks so far.
Do I have to tie my hair up or can I leave it open?
It is not advised to leave your hair open especially being in the bubble as it can get caught in between. You are rolling around going upside down as well so it is best to tie it up.
Can I get up easily after a fall or will help be needed?
You can easily get up by yourself using the right approach just like any other fall on your stomach, and using your knees. If you’re having trouble, not to worry because the representative can assist you with that.
Is there a referee?
Bubble Soccer Toronto does not provide a referee to be inside the field due to safety reasons while people are playing. However, we do send out a representative to guide you as mentioned earlier.
How many players minimum is required?
8 players are advised at a minimum being a game of 4 on 4 at least.
What clothing wear is required to play?
We advise you bring casual sports clothes, running shoes, water bottle, towel and knee guards. Cleats are not allowed in bubble soccer due to safety reasons.
What is the minimum age required to play bubble soccer?
Bubble Soccer Toronto does not recommend ages below 9 to play bubble soccer due to the sizing of the bubbles and safety reasons.
What is the refund policy?
Cancellation of the event can occur due to various unforeseen circumstances. However it is the responsibility of the game host/hostess to provide timely information to our representatives. If the cancellation occurs 7 days or more prior the date of the event, total deposit will be refunded. If cancellation is made less than 7 days but more than 48 hours before the event only the deposit amount (if provided) or 50% of the total invoiced amount (whichever is higher) will be charged. In case of a no-show or onsite full or partial cancellation, full fee will be charged. Venue cancellation, if booked through Bubble Soccer Toronto are non-refundable and full permit fee along with service charge will be charged in full in any cancellation made at anytime.
What happens if it rains?
If the event is cancelled due to rain or any other extreme or compelling situation, you have the option to reschedule the event to any future mutually agreeable date. The information for such a situation must be provided before the delivery is scheduled. If we are satisfied with the reasons provided, full amount will be adjusted against the new date. In case, there is no information provided for rescheduling or cancellation and there is a no show, full amount will be charged.
How much does the field cost in Toronto or surrounding areas?
The field cost depends upon the type , size and City you are in. You can play bubble soccer either in a gymnasium or indoor soccer dome. The gymnasiums in Toronto cost about $80 to $140 per hour depending on the size and type of the gymnasium owner in most GTA locations the cost is about $60 to $90 per hour. Indoor soccer domes costs about $100 to $150 per hour or in peak hours rates could be even higher.
